The activities guide features 54 pages of parks and facilities information and, largely, the wide range of programming youths can enjoy during the first half of the year. In case you don’t quite have the time to dive into it, here are some of the highlights.

General Info

Curious how to reserve public parks spaces and facilities? Flip to p. 10. Need to know which parks and pavilions have playgrounds, restrooms, electrical outlets, sports courts or something else? Check out the amenities tables on p. 8-9.

In-a-nutshell information on the city’s municipal facilities – Hobbs Ice Arena and Fairfax Pool – can be found between pages 13-16, including how to reserve individual rooms, programming, fees and more.

The parks programs also offer scholarships for low-income families; if finances are a bit of a barrier, consider applying for a scholarship online. Applicants will need to provide some documentation and, if awarded, fees are knocked down to 25% of their original price per program. (That applies to pool passes, too, but excludes individual swim lessons.)

Fairfax Pool
Fairfax Pool (4200 Fairfax St., Eau Claire) will be open from June 5-Aug. 21 this summer. Learn more about season pass fees and other activities being organized at Fairfax Pool online
