Are you ready for back-to-school season? We Care Eau Claire – an organization dedicated to helping students in the Eau Claire Area School District succeed – will host a charitable event to benefit families who need an extra hand in preparing for heading back to school in the Chippewa Valley on Monday, Aug. 15 from 4:30-7:30pm.

Families are invited to the Farmer's Market pavilion at Phoenix Park to get a backpack filled with the required ECASD school supplies for the year. Feed My People food pantry will supply families with yummy groceries at the event, and a local Goodwill has put a coupon in the backpacks to help with school uniforms and any other school-related needs. Other community organizations will be present with additional resources for students and families.
