Whether you are looking to pick fresh lavender, support an area small business with lavender-related products, or to attend its upcoming workshops and events – Pondview Lavender Farm (3735 Business Hwy 29, Chippewa Falls) seems to have something for everyone.

This summer, the farm will host "Lavender 101: An introduction for the Curious Novice," a recurring workshop for community members to learn more about the fragrant herb right in our backyards.

With the support of area lavender enthusiast and hobbyist, Deborah Carr, attendees can learn about the plant's history, common uses and best growing practices for the region.

"With hands-on examples and a chance to harvest your own lavender bundle, this class offers a unique opportunity to connect with nature and gain practical knowledge," Pondview staff shared online.

This introductory class is perfect for beginners to garden enthusiasts; "Lavender 101" will resume on Thursday, June 25 and continue through July 12. To purchase tickets ($45/person) visit the Pondview Lavender Farm events webpage.
