Technically, The Phoenix Taproom & Kitchen (402 Graham Ave., Eau Claire) does have a bar to sit at, but there was no way 72 taps were going to fit behind. Also, they're self-pour taps, so it would just be in the way. Regardless, the new taproom has a bajillion rotating brews, ciders, seltzers, THC drinks, kombuchas, and more alongside its food menu (including brunch). Fella’s Loaded Goat (1305 Menomonie St., Eau Claire) is a total sleeper hit with reasonable pricing, great service, breakfast, lunch, and dinner menus, and a full bar. What more do you want? Conley’s Hill House (31526 County Hwy. X, Boyd) has it all: daily specials, game day deals, jumbo chicken wings, bingo and giveaways, and a Friday Fish Fry. So, see you there? —McKenna Scherer
