Best Touring Theatrical Production

The Pablo Center dominated this year’s touring theatrical performances by offering a great variety of shows. In December, Emmy-winning journalist, comedian, host, and Manitowoc Minute creator Charlie Berens appeared at The Pablo. Waitress and pie-maker Jenna dreams of escaping her small town and unfulfilling marriage in Waitress. In November, The Pablo Center brought us hope and respite with RENT. The musical follows the lives of a diverse group of artists and friends who struggle to attain their dreams without selling out. — Diana Peterson
