Achoo! Sneezing has never been so suspect, and thanks to a number of local businesses, we can keep nasty germs contained to prevent the spread of COVID-19. No local sneeze guards are quite like those at Woodman’s Market (2855 Woodman Drive, Altoona), which allow locals to go grocery shopping without fear of catching the coronavirus. Olson’s Ice Cream (80 S. Barstow St., Eau Claire) takes second place with high guards protecting that most precious of goods: ice cream.
