The UW-Eau Claire Women’s Volleyball team made History in late November, as they made it to the NCAA Division III quarterfinals, defeating Tufts University on Thursday, kicking Juniata College’s butt on Friday, roasting Calvin College (who beat UWEC in 2018!) in three sets, and taking home a historic championship title. The win marked the first time a WIAC school won a national championship since UW-Whitewater in 2005. Arianna Barrett (left) and Kendra Baierl (right) celebrated the win in apparent shock.

Light up the winter season with this Off-Grid Inn in Fall Creek, which was built last winter. This cozy getaway features a queen-size bed, compostable bathroom, Wi-Fi, and even a movie projector – not to mention a fire pit for those looking to start late-night bonfires. (BYO s’mores ingredients!)
