The wheels on the bus go round and round. To Menomonie?

Could a daily bus linking Menomonie and Eau Claire be coming down the road? The possibility of such a commuter service was discussed Feb. 21 by the Dunn County Board. Ann Schell of the West Central Wisconsin Regional Planning Commission and Dunn County Transit director Kent Conklin presented a draft plan which called for buses running three times a day along U.S. 12, possibility connecting Menomonie to Chippewa Valley Technical College on Eau Claire’s west side, the Leader-Telegram reported. Such a plan would require approval from a number of entities, including the Eau Claire City Council.
