Blue Ox Music Festival - Ten Years in The Pines (Mini-Documentary)
Pulling back the curtain on the magic of The Pines ahead of the 11th annual Blue Ox Music Festival
video by Ma Vue |
Blue Ox Music Festival graced the grounds of The Pines Music Park for the first time in 2015 with the vision of creating an intimate Americana and Bluegrass music experience. Over the past decade, the family-owned festival and its campgrounds have curated and maintained a truly unique, fan-centric, multi-day experience centered on the beauty of community. Blue Ox has become an all-ages tradition for locals and travelers alike during the past 10 years, and ahead of its 11th festival this summer, we’re pulling back the curtain on some of the magic.
At last summer’s 10-year anniversary festival, Volume One Photo & Video Director Ma Vue saw an opportunity to encapsulate the Blue Ox magic in a new way – through the experience and eyes of the artists and dedicated festival staff who bring it all to life. Through the collaborative efforts of the V1 staff, Blue Ox Press and Media Director Karen Wells Verlander, who came aboard the project as producer, and all the artists featured in this mini-documentary, we hope you enjoy the sit-down conversations, behind-the-scenes moments, and magic of The Pines.
Blue Ox Music Festival returns to The Pines Music Park in Eau Claire this summer, June 26-28, with an incredible lineup of returning favorites, first-time performers, and a range of visual arts attractions, music workshops, vendors, and more.
