TIMELESS GATHERINGS. Formerly known as The Cottage Winery and Vineyard, the venue’s new chapter as The Cobble and Vine (N7391 County Rd F, Menomonie) offers a space to celebrate life’s triumphs and forever moments – from marriage to anniversaries alike. With decades of experience in the wedding industry, co-owners Nick and Alisha Arvold are ready to say "I do" to their next business venture.

Turning the clock back ten years, Alisha and Nick Arvold stood on the cobblestone paths of what once was the Cottage Winery, Now Cobble & Vine, a charming Menomonie venue, to say “I do.”

Today, the couple prepares to breathe new life into the very location where their story began – eager to showcase the timeless venue where they got married to other couples of the Chippewa Valley.

“Getting married 10 years ago (here) has really made it very serendipitous for us,” Nick said. “I like to tell people that (we are) married into the community; I am really excited for this next step in our journey to give back to that community.”

Formerly known as The Cottage Winery and Vineyard, the venue’s new chapter as The Cobble and Vine (N7391 County Rd F, Menomonie) welcomes couples and families who wish to celebrate life’s triumphs and forever moments – from marriage to anniversaries.

All the while, both Nick and Alisha have been steeped in the wedding business and traditions, with Nick’s operations as an event and wedding photography business and Alisha bringing her management experience.

Each of these interwoven ventures – along with the continued investment of Marilyn Fanetti – have remained rooted in Menomonie, with values that will continue to expand throughout The Cobble and Vine’s future: togetherness, delight and – of course – love.

“The idea of owning a wedding venue quietly grew alongside us,” the duo shared. “It was always this venue – the place where it all began – the one we imagined filled again with laughter, music and celebration.”

Amidst the rolling hills which enclose The Cobble and Vine, guests are beckoned into an ethereal landscape – a realm of winding stone pathways, vine-drenched architecture and versatile havens – perfectly suited for intimate gatherings or grand celebrations.

This venue may be most recognized for its tasting room and bridal suite, two spaces within the venue, suitable for any type of occasion – especially weddings. Guests can savor a beverage or two – thanks to the venue’s strong partnerships with regional vendors – in its cobblestone patio, accentuating the harmony between the historic architecture and the natural world.

The Cobble and Vine’s large pavilion can accommodate up to 220 guests and invites parties and occasions from spring through autumn. A charming two-story cottage is also located on the property to complement the venue’s charm and offer wedding couples the chance to extend the celebration with a weekend-long stay.

“The venue screams to be explored,” the couple said. “There are so many vignettes around the venue; it feels comfortable to go and explore (and) find these other little hidden spots to hang out – it’s very picturesque.”

For the 2026 season and beyond, The Cobble and Vine will feature three tiered packages for couples planning their next wedding or special event.

Tier one – the all-inclusive, luxury package offers exclusive venue access all weekend long, a suite to get ready with guests and the cottage for overnight stays – with the additions of bar service, clean-up assistance and preferred vendor recommendations.

Tier two, ideal for larger wedding parties, offers 16 hours of dedicated venue access with additional perks from tier one. A simplified third tier catered toward micro-weddings includes six hours of venue access, complete bar service and other features.

“We want (couples) to have the flexibility and the comfort of having the full day available to them,” Nick said. “We want to give them a place where they can put down roots and just enjoy (their) day and limit running around from place to place.”

“A space to love” will remain the vision for the Arvolds as they approach their next season of weddings and occasions with The Cobble and Vine. The venue remains infused with the history of countless celebrations of love and echoes the same spirit it held for the couple a decade prior.

“We want to maintain a lot of (The Cobble and Vine’s) history, but we also want it to feel like this new space,” the couple said. “It speaks volumes to the community that we have here; this is where we want to put down roots.”
