In the case of Window World of Eau Claire, it’s more of a window into the community.
The local business is owned and operated by the Heinz family – generations in the making – and has offered family-driven offerings to locals since 2008. When Tim and DeAnn Heinz moved their family from Fond du Lac to Eau Claire nearly two decades ago, Tim laid the groundwork for what would become a continual stream of growth.
Today, these two leaders of the business hope to continue their legacy, through the vision of their children and grandchildren.
Daniel, one of six boys in the family, alongside his wife Vanessa, have now become the leading managers of the Eau Claire location. Like many in the Heinz family, Daniel spent his formative years in the warehouse, installing and marketing.
Today, the team has grown to include over 20 team members in varying roles; all work on windows and doors – and even gutters – is completed in-house.
“My wife and I started our journey to leadership back in 2018,” Daniel said. “For the past two years or so, along with my parents who started Window World of Eau Claire and due to dad’s health, my wife and I have helped reintroduce our community values and intentional support along with continuing new ways to gain the younger generation to the trade of remodel and construction.”

The milestone represents thousands of individual efforts, from national fundraising initiatives to local community involvement, all driven by a shared belief in giving back and making a meaningful difference.
In support of the military and veterans, the Window World franchise’s Military Initiative has focused its efforts on supporting those who offer their service to the nation; they assist with free air transportation to wounded veterans and their families.
Here locally, the family also supports the Fellowship of Christian Athletes and cancer research through Garding Against Cancer – all funds going straight back here in Wisconsin.
