Security Financial Bank Announces Plans For 25,000-Square-Foot Office in E.C.
Durand-founded financial institution will relocate and expand its corporate office in Eau Claire, plans to break ground in early 2026
Security Financial Bank (SFB) recently announced its plans for a new home base in Eau Claire: A 25,000-square-foot administrative office building off of Highway 53.
In an Oct. 14 media release, SFB shared Eau Claire’s Market & Johnson is scheduled to begin construction on the project in early 2026 with a completion goal of Spring 2027. The new building – which will be located 1610 Princeton Crossing, Eau Claire – will serve as a more modern, expansive site “to accommodate future growth.”
“As SFB continues to grow, it is important that we create a corporate office that reflects who we are as an organization and where we are headed,” Mark Oldenberg, president and CEO of SFB, stated. “This new facility will provide modern spaces that foster collaboration and innovation, while also reaffirming our commitment to Eau Claire the communities we serve.”
SFB will continue to serve customers at its existing Eau Claire branch location (4217 Southtowne Dr.), as well as in Alma Center, Black River Falls, Bloomer, Durand, Ladysmith, and River Falls.

Founded in Durand in 1934, the financial institution first expanded into Eau Claire in 2009, later moving its corporate offices from Durand to Eau Claire in 2017. Since then, the regional bank has more than doubled its size to $1 billion in assets, consequently outgrowing its current home base at 4813 Keystone Crossing, Eau Claire.
The forthcoming expansion is expected to include a bank branch, pending regulatory approval, the media release noted, as well as additional workspaces and meeting areas.
