THE NORTH POLE NEEDS HELP! Help find Santa, Mrs. Claus, and his nine reindeer from Dec. 1-17 in Eau Claire parks.

Christmas at the North Pole is fast approaching, and Santa, Mrs. Claus, and their nine reindeer are missing! A source — possibly The Grinch — has reported they were last seen in the parks of the City of Eau Claire.

What’s to be done?! Search for and find them, of course! View the list of riddles and clues on the Clearwater Winter Events website, then follow the scavenger hunt clues and riddles and venture into the various City of Eau Claire parks to find Santa, Mrs. Claus, and the nine reindeer from Dec. 1-17. All need to be rounded up and returned back to the North Pole before Christmas!

The steps to participate are simple: First, in order to be eligible for prizes, register for free online. Second, if you find any of the lost reindeer, Santa, or Mrs. Claus, snap a photo of them and post it to the Facebook page of the Eau Claire Parks, Recreation & Forestry Department. Not on Facebook? Then send your photos to recreation@eauclairewi.gov, and an elf there will post them for you.

For each photo submitted, registered participants will be awarded an entry into the drawings for prizes, which will be held at the event’s end. Winners will be announced and posted to the Facebook event page.
