Eau Claire's community of cycling organizations and avid fans of all ages, came together to celebrate the beginnings of 2026 Wisconsin Bike Week on May 31.

This year, the week-long itinerary welcomed the return of "Bike Week Kickoff Beach Party & Family Ride" at Haymarket Plaza (128 Graham Ave., Eau Claire). The kickoff beach party and ride began in Eau Claire at 2pm – with the bike ride leaving at 3pm for a family-friendly six-mile ride.

Whether you were along for the ride or simply had an itch for the beginnings of summer and days spent along the shores, locals enjoyed interactive games, vendor pop-ups and other fun activities with a beach-themed flair.
