Sloslylove, the sonic project of Feng Meng Vue, presented their highly anticipated spring finale at LIVE at LEONA’s — the venue side of Leona’s Pizzeria (406 Galloway St., Eau Claire) – on Thursday, May 15.

The evening showcased Sloslylove's distinctive musical style, characterized by "crisp 80's cinematic inspired sounds" that have garnered them a dedicated following, LIVE at LEONA's shared online. This event marked the end of a three-month residency, which began in March of this year and was held on the third Thursday of each month.

The event began at 8pm, with the introduction of two special musical guests: Eric Tomlinson Simmons (@erictomlinsonsimmons) began the evening with compelling beat-matching and equalization; followed by the the atmospheric soundscapes of Luc Hans Larson, musically known as Lesh (@lllessshhh).

Adding a captivating visual dimension to the soundscape experience was the work of Erik Elstran (@erikelstran), a visual multimedia artist who created an otherworldly display of video clips on 10 vintage tube televisions alongside a full-size projector — crafting an equally immersive and nostalgic aesthetic for all in attendance.

Sloslylove's (@sloslylove) closing set featured textured, bright, and intense tracks with an overarching theme of cinematic nostalgia. Their energetic conclusion summoned attendees to freely dance and express themselves, complementing Elstran's TV and film-inspired visuals.

This 18+ event was priced at a $5 cover charge, with the Leona’s Pizzeria bar open for beverages. The convergence of Sloslylove's signature sound, the contributions of talented guest artists, and the analog-driven visual presentation created a memorable and multifaceted event at LIVE at LEONA’s.
