NOW THAT’S A PARTY! The First Annual Eau Claire Singer Songwriter Soiree hit The Stones Throw on Saturday, Jan. 22, featuring a diverse array of local talent, including The Nunnery, Soren Staff (of Them Coulee Boys), Jerrika Mighelle, Arms Aloft, Hemma, Matt Vold, Naalia, and Josh Ingersoll.
Local musicians ran the sound, lights, promo, booking, and the door, creating a local vibe – and all proceeds supported the artists themselves.
“This mix of musicians just shows how big the Eau Claire scene is,” said Aliana Sigala, lead vocalist of Naalia, “and how it continues to inspire more and more people to create music in their own lane.”
The organizers of the Singer Songwriter Soiree plan to hold similar events once or twice a year to continue to highlight the importance of the local music community to the vibrancy of the city.
