Parker Reed is a former Volume One staffer and news reporter at the Chippewa Herald, as well as a longtime area musician.
He graduated from UW-Eau Claire with a degree in journalism in 2018 and has worked as a professional journalist ever since. He received a first-place general news story award from the Wisconsin Newspaper Association in 2021 for his story, “Menomonie school board censures Jim Swanson; requests his resignation and will file a disorderly conduct complaint against him,”and two first-place awards for his reporting in college from the Wisconsin Broadcasters Association.
