The structure is an artistic masterpiece of design that houses theaters, galleries, and community rooms. Banbury Place (800 Wisconsin St., Eau Claire) is always a draw with its 1,900,000 square feet —  housing artists, business owners, and loft-style apartments. The Mabel Tainter Center for the Arts (205 Main St. E., Menomonie) has been beckoning visitors since 1889. This sandstone Victorian oozes historical charm. — Diana Peterson
