While the Chippewa Valley definitely values a lowkey weekend of slow sips and chit-chat, a fair share of venues are particularly suitable for a club-style Friday or Saturday night. Scooter’s Bar (411 Galloway St., Eau Claire) and its impressive dance floor, its weekend DJs, and its twice-weekly karaoke takes the cake when it comes to groovin’ for the 12th consecutive year. She-Nannigans & Lucky’s (415 Water St., Eau Claire) is as a massive space perfect for socializing, drinking, and, of course, dancing. In third place, locals can regularly bop and drop to (free!) live music at O’Leary’s Pub (809 W. Clairemont Ave., Eau Claire) on the bar’s sizeable dance floor. — Taylor Reisdorf
