With Dixon’s Autumn Harvest Winery located just three miles from the wedding venues, it’s practically a next-door space for wine on the day of, as well as a space for bridal showers or rehearsal dinners. The Vino Den is perfect for smaller gatherings of up to 35 people, and The Loft at the winery can host up to 75 guests for small-medium sized groups. Plus, owners Jim and Becky Dixon Mullane host an annual Open House event for its incoming wedding couples.

“Each year at our Open House, we invite couples for the upcoming year to visit and view all the improvements, look through each venue and the property in-person, and sample wine,” Becky said. “Every time, couples are so excited and are able to really grasp what will be waiting for them on their wedding day.”

The annual Open House is an opportunity to see each year’s revamping efforts made by Jim, Becky, and the Dixon’s team, and this year’s updates have included a stunning landscaping project and interior redecorating.

Thanks to this year’s long fall season, the team was able to bring in boulders to the main venue’s landscaping, creating a cozy fire pit ambiance and adding to its atmosphere near the back entrance. Inside, more lighting and interior details are being implemented, something Open House attendees will be able to experience this year on April 28.

And on the big day, couples are able to help their guests experience a true connection to the Chippewa Valley and Dixon’s when they serve wine that was all prepared right at their wedding venue. “That connection is so nice,” Becky said. “For couples’ wedding, we provide the service of bringing wine right to their venue, adding to the private experience of it all. It’s so important to us to offer that intimate setting.”

For couples beginning their planning journey, Jim and Becky not only welcome but encourage taking a tour of the property. “We love to take couples on tours! Even with fantastic photos, there is just no picture or anything I can say that beats what you’ll see yourself on the property,” Becky said. “With the vastness of the property, you have to come out and see all that’s included. It’s a true experience.”
