Even though some of us aren’t ready to admit it, fall is almost upon us. What better way to celebrate the incoming season than with one of Eau Claire’s favorite annual events, the Downtown Eau Claire Fall Festival?!
Slated for Saturday, Sept. 16, from 11am-5pm, South Barstow Street will be transformed into a pedestrian mall for the event. There will be a ton of activities for locals to enjoy including musical performances, vendor booths, and family-friendly activities. This year, The Lismore Hotel (333 Gibson St., Eau Claire) will be running a new beer garden near the main stage.
Musical performances on that stage will include Sweater People at 11am, Noah Estrada at noon, the Chippewa Valley Irish Dancers at 1pm, the CollECtive Choir at 1:30pm, Pullstring at 2pm, the Blugold Marching Band at 3pm, and Appleton artist J25 at 4pm.
The number of local vendors participating in this year’s Fall Fest is the highest it’s ever been, so it’s shaping up to be a jam-packed event! Confirmed vendors thus far include food favorites like Ohana Pizza Company, Holy Donuts, Van Dough’s Bake Shop, Beez Neez Cheesecake & Sweets, Big Papa BBQ, and much more. There will also be a ton of craft and art vendors including Jewel’s & Janny, Sara Jo Creates, Creative Soul Designs, Take A Break Boutique, and more.
Royal Credit Union is sponsoring the Kids Zone in Block 1 of the event which will feature a plethora of kid-friendly activities. The day will be filled with exciting festivities that you and the whole community will love.
