It’s high time Chippewa Falls jumped onto the CBD train, the first stop is the newest locally owned CBD shop: Calm & Collected Cannabis Co. Located at 508 N. Bridge St. in downtown Chippewa Falls, Calm & Collected is a one-stop shop for all things cannabis, with all products sourced from within Wisconsin.
Owners Stacey Gabriel and Tim Wolfe (her fiancé) decided to open Calm & Collected after Stacey found wild success using CBD products to aid her mental health and realized there weren’t many places nearby to shop for products she trusted.
“There weren’t many (smoke and CBD shops) in Chippewa,” Gabriel said. “But the main thing for me is the products. For me, I hated going into other places because I didn’t know what the products were and where they came from, so I did some research and we found our main vendors and they’re all incredible.”
Calm & Collected Cannabis Co. carries all the CBD necessities including Delta 9 gummies, flower, carts, beverages, tinctures, soft gels, topicals, and much more, while also stocking common smoke shop products and other elements such as incense, pipes, and even candles.
“We want people to come in and feel welcome, we don’t want you to just come in and leave, you can stay and have coffee or water,” co-owner Stacey Gabriel said. “We don’t know everything either, but we’ll figure it out together.”
All of their cannabis products are sourced from Wisconsin including Sunny Skies CBD from Durand, Sutherland CBD from Superior, Stacks Family Farm and Carbon Cannabis from La Crosse, as well as Steve’s Hemp in Eau Claire.
They opened their doors on June 24, but are waiting to get a bit more settled before hosting a grand opening. The couple is planning a large celebration in late July with live music, product giveaways, and even bringing in their vendors for locals to meet them face-to-face.
So far both Stacey and Tim agree that the customers have made their short time in the shop very exciting, especially since they’ve already met a ton of people from different walks of life and different knowledge levels of cannabis.
“I spent 20 years in the automotive industry and it was a whole different ball game because no one walks in wanting to spend money on their car,” Wolfe said. “People who walk into this store smile and their smile is even bigger as they leave.”
“We want people to come in and feel welcome, we don’t want you to just come in and leave, you can stay and have coffee or water,” Gabriel said. “We don’t know everything either, but we’ll figure it out together.”
With their doors now open and having received a warm reception from the community, Calm & Collected Cannabis Co. is poised to become a hub for all things CBD in Chippewa Falls.
