Organic hemp products have been increasing in popularity over the past few years, as many see benefits from plant-based remedies. Luckily for Eau Clairians, a new herbal shop showcasing various high-quality products is set to open on April 20.

“We will have organic hemp-infused herbal tea, CBD gummies, tinctures, salves, lotions, massage oil, hemp-infused coconut oil, peanut butter, and so much more,” said Lisa Harris Gore, owner of the new business, Eau Claire Herbal Shop (2420 London Road).

We know each plant will help someone feel better.

Harris Gore, a UW-Stout grad, owns Holy Hemp Company, a local hemp farm in Eau Claire, which she runs with the help of her family. She is also a leader in Polka Dot Powerhouse, a women’s connection company.

“My family has a small hemp farm where we grow using only organic methods and absolutely love helping people with their health,” she said. “(Our) entire family of six work on the farm and care for each plant because we know each plant will help someone feel better with no psychoactive effect, but a reduction in many negative health ailments.”

Hemp products became a strong interest for Lisa when her father was diagnosed with terminal cancer in 2001. “Seeing him in pain was excruciating for everyone that loved him,” she said. “And his experience was what set me on a mission to find natural, healthy remedies to help reduce his pain, inflammation, and digestive discomfort.”

Through this experience, Harris Gore made it her mission to help others through education about herbal remedies and by offering the best products in Wisconsin. All of Eau Claire Herbal Shop’s products have been third-party tested and are state approved.

“Over nearly two decades I have researched, read, and advocated for education around healthy plant medicine, specifically hemp and cannabis medicine,” she said. “With so many classes taught both online and in person, we have brought health options that are most commonly found in Western states for many years here to our backyard!”

To celebrate the opening of Eau Claire Herbal Shop, there will be teas and local hemp products available for testing – not to mention a fun and friendly atmosphere where you can learn more about these products.

In the future, Harris Gore hopes that Eau Claire Herbal Shop will be Eau Claire’s top place to learn more about plant medicine and hemp through the classes they will offer each month.
