Here at the Volume One office we host a lot of group tours and talks. People like to poke around our old 1880s building and see how we’ve made it into a creative space for our staff and store. And they sometimes like to hear some of the V1 backstory, get a deeper sense of what our organization is all about, and learn what ideas we have for what may come next not only for our own business but for the entire community. We’ve chatted with a broad range of civic groups from Cub Scout Troops to retired Rotarians and everybody in between. And we love doing it. It’s a great chance to get feedback from the community on our various projects and a chance to show some new people The Local Store and Volume One Gallery. If you have a group you think may be interested in a tour or talk at our place, let us know. Whether it’s just a quick spin through office to peek behind the scenes, or a more in-depth, sit-down gab session, or presentation we’re open to most anything. You can email localstore@volumeone.org or call (715) 552-0457 to make something happen.
