Andrea Paulseth

Staff Photographer

Andrea Paulseth has been the part-time staff photographer with Volume One since 2008, trying her best to draw in the reader with off camera lighting skill and editorial style photography. She has the immense joy and pleasure of meeting and photographing so many new people in her hometown. Whether it’s taking photos while wearing a beekeeper’ outfit or climbing to the top of a rock wall to capture “the shot,” staying limber has served her well as she aims to give the reader the most interesting perspective possible! She previously gained experience at the Leader-Telegram as a part-time photographer right out of college, and after being a photo contributor early on with Volume One, was asked to come on board as the magazine’s first staff photographer.

Andrea is a graduate of UWEC with a BFA in photography. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time documenting special and mundane moments in her family's life that includes two active kiddos, having meaningful conversations with friends, family, and strangers, and looks forward to when the drive-in movie theater opens each year. Andrea is also passionate about serving in and being on the board of her local church where one of her ministries and hobbies includes ASL interpreting.
