Ahhh yes, another jam-packed evening down at the Mousetrap Tavern (311 S Barstow St, Eau Claire) surrounded by longtime local musicians – honestly, it doesn’t get much better than this!

Following the inaugural "Vegathon" bike ride, poker run and park crawl fundraiser through Eau Claire on Sept. 19 – raising funds for the family of local Matt Vega after his passing – the alternative bluegrass ensemble of Woodland Spring took the stage for a live set.

Performers ripped through original Woodland Spring tunes alongside a collection of crowd-pleasing covers. This energy continued during a mid-show raffle drawing, offering a slew of donated giveaway prizes.

If these photos tell us anything, the bar saw an overflowing house and "pure magic" from start to finish.
