As the 2026 Jaquish Farms (W5725 State Road 85, Eau Claire) season comes to a close in the Chippewa Valley, why not give us just one more glimpse of this longtime local tradition.

This past weekend, the area sunflower farm was brought to life by local patrons who enjoyed its sunflower maze, interactive kids games, wagon rides, local food vendors, among other new activities around every corner (or should we say stem?).

As owner Don Jaquish honors his late wife, Babbette, with the field of blooms each summer – us local have yet another reason to "stop and smell the flowers" for a good cause.

Jaquish Farms' annual "Fields Of Gold" fundraiser encouraged attendees to come together and support children with cancer. This season's profits will be once again sent to Joshua’s Camp, a charity for families impacted by these diagnoses.
