On Wednesday, April 22, Abraxas Wax in downtown Eau Claire (320 Graham Ave., Suite 102) once again hosted a fun-mixed bill of music – nestled in between its stacks of vinyl records and music memorabilia.
Presented by Farewell Transmission Radio of Eau Claire, locals listened to Toilet Rats, a Twin Cities, Minn. synth punk mutant band and Garrett T. Capps – the self-described space cowboy hailing from San Antonio, Texas.
Organizers described the evening as a charted course, "from the sewers to the farthest reaches of the galaxy." The all ages event offered these descriptors and much more – with ambient lights and intimate listening.
If you know, you know: audience members had the chance to sit just inches away from the makeshift stage and their soon-to-be favorite musical artists.
