The Eau Claire Figure Skating Club (ECFSC) welcomed spectators and skaters to its all-ages, all-skill-levels show this past weekend, April 17-19. Held on the club's home ice at Hobbs Municipal Ice Center (915 Menomonie St., Eau Claire), the annual ice show doubled as a fundraiser, featuring a silent auction, raffles and more in addition to the multi-day program.

ECFSC is a member-driven nonprofit, with about 70 active members including brand-new and seasoned skaters. The 47th annual ice show differs from competitions, ECFSC President Kristy Casto said, offering skaters an opportunity to try emerging skills and different choreography. 

“We find that (the Eau Claire Figure Skating Ice Show) really brings people together in terms of the skaters from different groups getting to work together,” Casto said in a recent interview with Volume One.
