Visitors and fans of the Glass Orchard (130 Deerfield Rd.) in Eau Claire kicked off the holiday season with its annual Holiday Glass and Gifts Sale on Nov. 8 and 9.

The sale featured hundreds of creations made directly on-site at the glass studio, such as glass trees, candy canes, snowpeople among other seasonal-themed designs.

An extra special — and interactive — layer to the weekend-long event included the "Ornaments in the Orchard," where holiday decorations are strung throughout the apple orchard on the property.

On Nov, 29 the dual glass studio and orchard will continue its festive celebrations on Small Business Saturday with a new batch of hand-crafted glass goodies and special activities for all ages.
