It’s with a heavy heart (and slightly lighter stomachs) that we recap the grand finale of Food Truck Friday for the 2025 season!
Food Truck Friday — sponsored by Royal Credit Union and TDS Telecom — brought all walks of life to downtown Eau Claire along Phoenix Park (330 Riverfront Terrace) throughout the summer season.
Last Friday, Sept. 5, Chippewa Vallians enjoyed the final Food Truck Friday of the year. From 11am to 7pm, attendees gathered to savor their favorite mobile eateries.
The September date, which coincided with "UW Meets EC" — an annual gathering designed to introduce new UW-Eau Claire students to local organizations and businesses — welcomed many first-year students to the evening dinner rush.
From May through September, up to 11 locally-rooted food trucks gathered once a month in the park to present an array of culinary delights — from wood fired pizzas to a flight of donuts that might just transport you to that “holy” place.
This year's Food Truck Friday series featured a diverse lineup for all types of eaters — including Dhimiters, Holy Donuts, Ohana Pizza Company, Karl's Bar-B-Q Express, Mi-Mi Cafe, and Ramone’s Ice Cream, and many others.
Don’t worry, we’re already counting down the days until our next calorie-loaded reunion comes back around in the spring.
