The Clear Water Kiwanis Club's Doll & Pet Parade returned to Eau Claire on Saturday, May 31, for its 78th year. The family-friendly favorite invites kids and their families (including furry friends) to march in the parade – led by the Grand Animal of the Chippewa Valley, Bandit the pup – all encouraged to arrive in style!

While kiddos ages 0-12 are typically the stars of the parade – along with their pets – anyone can take part in the community event, winding from the Owen Park tennis courts area and along the Eau Claire River, to the band shell. This year, over 100 kids participated in the parade, alongside dogs, cats, bunnies, a snake, two miniature horses, and baby ducklings.

The Doll & Pet Parade is also a fundraiser for the Clear Water Kiwanis Club, which supports many area nonprofits focused on children-related efforts (previous beneficiaries include Power of Perception, the ECASD Clothing Closet, Girls on the Run, The Community Table, and others).
