6 Feet Under – the brand-new venue space housed within Black Kettle Tea Shoppe & Boutique (217 Barstow St., Eau Claire) – officially slashed onto the scene with its first event on Saturday, May 3. Debuting with "Horror Through the Arts," a visual art exhibit and event, a number of local artists were featured, with area poet Elan McCallum also delivering a live reading while Eau Claire Cocktail Co. whipped up specialty mocktails. 

Venue proprietor Brianna Vodvarka hopes Horror Through the Arts will return as an annual happening. Next, 6 Feet Under will welcome horror flick lovers at 7pm on Thursday, May 8, for a free screening of House On Haunted Hill.
