The ninth annual MidWest WeirdFest, held from March 6-9 at the Micon Downtown Cinema, more than delivered on its promise to bring the weird. Festival founder Dean Bertram called this year's programming lineup – featuring neo-noir thriller Anywhere (dir. Adam Seidel), Cocaine Stepdad (dir. Cody LaRue, Dylan Grady), The Sasqualogist (dir. Joseph Granda), a tribute to the late David Lynch, and more – "a bevy of delights for any cinephile who revels in the bizarre." Here's a peek into the festival:
