You don’t grow up in Wisconsin without reelin’ in some perch or northerns, and this event made it super easy for kids to do just that! Hosted by the Union Sportsmen's Alliance from 9am-noon on Saturday, June 3, the free event was open to the public and encouraged families and youth to get fishin’! Inviting folks to the Carson Park Birch Pavilion, each registered child was given a fishing pole to use – and keep! – and try out fishing.
