Ya like jazz?! Around the Chippewa Valley, we certainly do! This past weekend from April 21-22, downtown Eau Claire was movin’ and groovin’ thanks to local musicians as part of the 2023 Eau Claire Jazz Festival. On Friday evening, bars, restaurants, and businesses turned into venues as part of the festival’s Jazz Crawl. Places that don’t typically host live music, like Olson’s Ice Cream, the Oxbow Gallery, and the Micon Downtown Cinema, joined the likes of The Mousetrap, The Plus, Stones Throw, and others.

Performers included local middle school, high school, and college big bands, Irie Sol, Uncommon Denominator, Weapons of Brass Destruction, and more.
