Menomonie's non-profit theater organization, the Menomonie Theater Guild (MTG), is back at it with its latest production opening tonight, March 10. "Almost, Maine" takes place one cold midwinter night in Almost – a spot not organized enough for a town but too populated for a wilderness – under the mystical energy of the aurora borealis. Featuring characters who are humorous, plain-spoken, and thoughtful, the play follows a series of loosely connected tales about love.
The play runs Friday, March 10-Sunday, March 12, and again Saturday, March 18-Sunday, March 19. The opening night show begins at 7:30pm and will be shown at the Mabel Tainer (205 Main Street, Menomonie). Tickets are $18 for adults (including fees) and $16 for students, seniors, and military members (including fees), available online for purchase.
Learn more about the play on MTG's website and keep up with them on Facebook.
