A well-known and appreciated artist in the Chippewa Valley and beyond, Joe Maurer, has a new exhibit at the L.E. Phillips Memorial Public Library. The show, “Too Big to Fly,” opened Monday, Jan. 9, and will run through Feb. 28. An artist’s reception was held Jan. 12, while on Jan. 17 from 6-7pm, Maurer is hosting a discussion and Q&A with entomologist Arthur Kneeland and botanist Mark Leach about pollinators and urban gardens.
