[PHOTOS] Victorian Vibes at Irvine Park’s Christmas Village

Thanks to A Christmas Carol, A Visit From St. Nicholas, and countless other depictions, Victorian traditions and fashions are an indelible part of Christmastime, even in the 21st century. This year, on Dec. 16, the annual Irvine Park Christmas Village in Chippewa Falls had an added attraction: volunteers in Victorian garb, ready to bring old-fashioned good cheer amid the thousands of twinkling lights and dozens of seasonal displays. With the garbed actors won’t return this year, the park is open 7am to 9:30pm daily through Jan. 1.
