Folks are invited to the L.E. Phillips Memorial Public Library to take a gander at the vintage toy train exhibit. All dressed up for the holidays and chuggin’ along, the exhibit is a fundraiser for the Friends of the Library. Held at the downtown library in Riverview Room, Level 3, the train layout is open to the public every Tuesday and Thursday until Dec. 29 from 4:30-7:30pm, and every Saturday (except Christmas Eve) until Dec. 31 from 1-5pm. In the evenings, night trains with lighted cars will run, and three trains run at all times throughout the event, operated by the Standard Gauge Module Association. Open to all ages, kiddos ages 0-4 can see the exhibit for free while those ages 5-17 pay just $2. The adult fee is $5. Find more details on the library’s website.
