Eau Claire first- through fourth-graders learned about life way back in the day with the Time Travelers program. The Pioneer Life workshop on July 12, 2022, gave kids a chance to explore an “off-the-grid” 1860s log home, find out what daily life was like before indoor plumbing and other modern conveniences, investigate early lighting using hands-on-history artifacts, and experience candle making and get a DIY kit.
