Think Night at the Museum, only with a Greek twist – that’s UWEC Cabaret’s recent performance, titled Olympia. This year’s annual choral program focused on a school field trip that takes an unexpected turn when students find themselves stuck in a museum overnight, and mythical characters come to life before their very eyes. Audiences watched as they encountered Greek gods and goddesses – both good and evil – in their performances from Jan. 27 through Feb. 5, 2022.
Cabaret has been a mainstay in UW-Eau Claire’s theater program since 1978. The show – which has a 10-month production schedule – is written, produced, and performed entirely by students.
