Putting "heart" in "art": that's the mission of a new mural by area middle and high school students, who got the chance to bring a splash of color to the garage doors of Artisan Forge Studios this past weekend.   On Saturday, May 8, students from Memorial High School, North High School, DeLong Middle School, and Northstar Middle School worked with local artist Jason Anhorn, Northstar art teacher Johanna Peterson, and retired DeLong art teacher Kathy Bareis to create a spray paint mural depicting an aerial view of Eau Claire. The project sought to give students the opportunity to work on a large-scale art project using new techniques in celebration of Creative Economy Month in May.
