Half Moon Dragon Boat Festival 2015

The Chippewa Valley saw its first-ever dragon boat race on Saturday, August 8 – out on picturesque Half Moon Lake. The event pit teams of locals (20 paddlers + a drummer + a steersperson) against each other, paddles in hand, along a 300 meter course. Organized by Mayo Clinic Health System, proceeds from the festival will benefit hospice care and expand bereavement services in our area.
