On Friday, May 3 the opening reception for "Elemental Grace, Reflective Homage" took place at Raw Deal in Menomonie.  Elemental Grace, Reflective Homage is a collaborative art show between Tracy Chipman and Hope Larsen. Tracy's work is inspired by her life living in a small cabin, without running water and a wood stove for heat, by the Big Lake – Gitchigoomie for two Enchanted Winters. The collection follows and creates a narrative of events and storylines of that time and place. As homage to Wisconsin and her passion for the natural world that surrounds us here in the Chippewa Valley, Hope has illustrated a concentration of work that honors the local flora and fauna that call this place home. Also, live music by "Claytown."
