Garbage Goose: Re-Headed!
On Thursday, October 11, Eau Claire artist Steve Bateman re-attached the head of one of his most visible sculptures – the Garbage Goose, aka Junk Swan – which has roosted atop a small annex of the Banbury Place complex along Galloway Street in Eau Claire for a number of years. The head (and neck) had been in the shop for repairs. The sculpture is made of junk found in the Mississippi River.
