While local media reported the head count to be a little higher, organizers counted 1,585 people gathered in front of the Holiday Inn on Eau Claire’s Craig Road to rally in support of workers rights on Saturday, March 5, 2011– firefighters, teachers, city workers, nurses, small business owners, non-unionized supporters and the like.
