Jazz Slam

The Eau Claire Jazz Festival hosted the area’s first-ever “Jazz Slam” at the Acoustic Café on Thursday, April 8. Contestants competed in an American Idol style competition, including a panel of local judges. Thomas Morgan won the High School Division, Nels Urtel won the Collegiate Division.
