Hometown favorites The Daredevil Christopher Wright have been hinting at a new record since, well, probably since they put out their first one in 2009. They held us at bay with The Longsuffering Song EP last year, but now it's time to really get excited:

A new full length, called The Nature of Things, will be out June 26. And you can hear the first track — a jangly, stompy tune called "Divorce" — over at Paste (freaking) Magazine.

Daredevil will be releasing the record through Vancouver-based label File Under: Music (a very practical, staightforward name, if you ask me).

If you just can't wait, you can catch these three gents at Grand Little Theatre on April 21 with Common Loon, Santah and Icarus Himself. It also looks like they'll be back on June 22 to release the record.
