Jon Sunde of The Daredevil Christopher Wright parts the seas of underagers and legal imbibers alike at last year's WUEC Showcase

A few weeks ago we ran an opening letter by Scott Morfitt on the need for all ages shows to engage those who aren't quite legal with the local music scene. Well, tomorrow brings that exact opportunity. 

WUEC-FM – the Wisconsin Public Radio station partnered with UW-Eau Claire – is hosting their annual music showcase Saturday at the Council Fire Room in Davies Center. The near-all-day event features a variety of performers, including bands and even an improv group.

Acts include The Daredevil Christopher Wright, Minneapolis' Zoo Animal, Adelyn Rose, Kalispell and the UWEC improv group The Backwards Thinkers' Society and the show kicks off at 4 pm.

Admission is a cool six big-ones, but for six hours of entertainment that seems like a steal.
